I believe reiki to be a beautiful, simple energetic healing system, and that's the way I teach it - as clear and concise as possible, free of embellishment.

We then arrange a suitable time for the attunement. Don't worry if you're not sure what to expect - I'll explain to you what will happen and what you need to do - and I provide full instructions just as I do when I carry out reiki attunements on people physically in the room with me.
Pricing
You can pay after the attunement, and payment is handled via the secure (SSL) Paypal website. There's a suggested price of $150(USD) (£75) per reiki attunement, but that's just a suggestion and you can decide what to pay.

Explaining the remote attunement process
Learning reiki is unlike the process for any other energetic system (yoga, acupuncture, tai chi etc.). You cannot learn to channel reiki by reading books or websites - you have to undergo an initiation process called an attunement.
Some people are wary of the remote attunement process. This is only natural but if you don't actually believe remote attunements work then you can't believe reiki works at all on any levels: it's the same energy and the same transferral process.
The attunement is carried out by someone already connected to the reiki source and who has been empowered to provide this service. This person tends to be called a 'Reiki Master/Teacher'. The attunement can be carried out in person or over distance - reiki is nonphysical energy and so does not obey the physical world laws. Reiki's recent explosive growth all around the world can be attributed to the remote attunement process, which makes it easy for people to become reiki healers/practitioners no matter where they are physically located (and is often considerably cheaper than taking a weekend course).
The process itself involves the reiki master connecting with the recipient on an energetic level, who is then 'plugged in' to the reiki source. This involves opening up the person's energy channels, with specific attention upon the crown, brow and heart chakras. When a practitioner is attuned to master level, the exact attunement instructions are passed down to them and the cycle continues.
The different reiki levels explained
Reiki I
Your first step along the reiki path. The reiki attunement connects you to the source of healing energy which you can then start to channel. You can use this to help heal yourself and others. Reiki is a great tool for self-discovery and, whilst not a 'cure-all' for life's challenges, may certainly help you to deal with those challenges far better.
Very often having a reiki I attunement brings out a lot of emotional baggage in a person - it was certainly that way for me and others I have attuned. This is due to the reiki clearing out negative energy blocks within your body which you facilitate through the self-healing sessions. This is also known as a cleansing cycle and everybody experiences it slightly differently: for some it is vivid dreams, for others an actual detoxification process.
Reiki II
The second reiki attunement deepens the connection to the source and strengthens your ability to channel it. Reiki II introduces the reiki symbols which also allow healing to be directed to emotional/mental issues and across time/space. You can use this to do your healing work no matter where the recipient is physically in the world.
Prerequisite is Reiki I from any reiki master/teacher.
Reiki III (master/teacher)
The final attunement further strengthens and deepens your connection to the reiki source. In addition, you are taught the final symbol which empowers the process of passing attunements to others (it is good practice to become thoroughly familiar with all aspects of reiki before you start to attune others however).
Prerequisite is Reiki II from any reiki master/teacher.
After the attunement
After the reiki attunement I provide essential information and support for as long as it is needed. Plus I can put you in touch with other reiki practitioners should you wish to talk and share your reiki healing experiences with other people. The reiki booklet table of contents is:
