Reiki healing experiences
Just before I attuned Ann to reiki III (master/teacher), she sent me the following information about her early reiki experiences. Ann has kindly given permission for me to share these experiences.
Ann:
"Shortly after I was attuned to Reiki I, I visited my father and sister in Malaysia. As my father had been experiencing some health problems, I decided to do Reiki treatments for him while I was there. We had several sessions over consecutive days and my dad said he felt better each day. What is interesting is that my sister is psychic and clairvoyant, herself a Pranic healer, and so was very interested in the Reiki sessions. Although she had mentioned Reiki to me, she had not been attuned herself.
For each of the sessions, Pat sat and watched from beginning to end.
First session
She saw a vast expanse of violet energy high above my head. My crown chakra had opened up and the violet energy was pouring into it and coming out through my hands. As the energy was transmitting, she saw gray smoke coming out of dad’s body. She said the energy was moving to different chakras even though my hands were in the same place. At the same time, I felt a very deep and strong love and compassion emanating from the energy. The energy was pouring into my body like a waterfall. After the treatment, Pat said my aura was a clear brilliant green, the color of healing.
Second session
Pat told me the day before that she had heard that you could recite “Cho Ku Ray” 3 times to make the energy flow more strongly. So I did this time and also invited all angels and beings who wished to help to do so. Hardly a couple of minutes into the session, Pat said, “What did you do today? The energy is a lot stronger.” I realized it was the recitation of “Cho Ku Ray” – its power is the same regardless of whether I was attuned or not. A few more minutes later, she said, “Hey, did you summon the angels? There’re three of them in the room right now. Can you see – they’re over there, where it’s unusually bright and they are very tall. They’re helping you.” I could not see them but felt their presence and was awed at how the angels took my simple request seriously. I no longer felt the energy rushing into me like a waterfall. It was now like a very potent oil being poured into my crown chakra. I could feel its depth and strength.
Third session
Aftera few minutes, Pat says, “Wow, it’s different today. It’s like I am looking at an X-ray. The energy is going into dad’s bones especially his legs (my dad has weak knees and walking problems) – it’s clear bright blue - dad’s bones are now bright blue too.” The session goes very well until I come to dad’s feet. Someone comes to the door asking for dad. Pat goes to the door and I told dad I was about done. But I guess he got excited and wanted to get up right away. Suddenly, I felt the energy push back at my hands as he stopped receiving it to get up to go to the door. It was so strong, I was taken aback. My hands felt uncomfortable for quite some time after. I realize now that I should have stopped right away because we had been interrupted.
Fourth session
“Today, it’s different again. This is so interesting and amazing. I see 3-D geometric shapes of different colors entering his chakras – pyramids, cubes, spheres – Wow!” Neither of us knew what it meant but we guessed it was a different level of healing for my dad.
These were very precious sessions for me as a new Reiki healer. Whatever doubts I had about Reiki, they were all swept away. I have not had any other sessions with Pat watching since she is in Malaysia and I’m in the US but I no longer need confirmation that Reiki is doing something for the recipient. Reiki always does something although it may not be what we expect, and its power is not dependent on how we feel on a particular day. It is always there, always powerful.
Pat has since received her Reiki I & II attunements and incorporate Reiki into her Pranic healing sessions."
